What is Health Coaching?

Health Coaching, as defined by Wikipedia, is
... a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior change by challenging a client to listen to their inner wisdom, identify their values, and transform their goals into action. Health coaching draws on the principles of positive psychology and the practices of motivational interviewing and goal setting. (source)
It help individuals gain the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence to become active participants in their care so that they can reach their self-identified health goals.

A Health Coach is a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates individuals to cultivate positive health choices.
